He became Guru at age 5. During a smallpox epidemic in Delhi he sat tirelessly with the sick, blessing all who came. He himself caught smallpox while serving the sick and ascended to age 8, becoming the youngest of the Gurus. His final word — 'Baba Bakala' — pointed to his successor.
